Choose the right place for your reed diffuser
Place your diffuser on a stable, non-porous surface where air can circulate naturally around it. A hallway, living room, bedroom or bathroom can all work well depending on the strength of fragrance you prefer.
Avoid placing your diffuser directly beside a sunny window, heater or another strong heat source. Extra heat can increase evaporation and may cause the fragrance liquid to disappear more quickly.
Flip the reeds when you want a stronger fragrance
The reeds draw fragrance from the bottle and release it gradually into the room. If the scent starts to feel softer, carefully flip the reeds to refresh the fragrance throw.
For many homes, flipping the reeds around once a week is enough. If you prefer a softer scent, you can flip them less often. Each time the reeds are turned, more fragrance is exposed to the air, so frequent flipping can also make the liquid evaporate faster.
Use the right number of reeds
More reeds generally means a stronger scent throw, but it can also increase the rate of evaporation. When flipping the reeds, use care to avoid dripping fragrance onto furniture or benchtops. It can help to place a tissue underneath while you turn them.
How long does a 200ml reed diffuser last?

What should you do when the diffuser gets low?
If you want to continue with the same fragrance, a reed diffuser refill is an easy way to replenish your vessel. Refill only into a clean, suitable D’Luxxe fragrance vessel intended for that refill type, and clean up any spills immediately.
If you are changing to a completely different fragrance, make sure the vessel is clean before refilling so the old and new scents do not compete with each other.
